Throw It Away!

Beaches are often visited by people. Many of these people don’t pick up their trash in this places thinking it’s the job of someone else to clean it up, but it’s not true. People should use a bag or something to clean up their trash after they’re finished. The trash that is left thrown in the beach is often taken by a tide. People shouldn’t leave their trash on beaches.

When trash is taken by a tide it causes many animals to die. If we don’t do something now to stop beach pollution, many aquatic species would become extinct. People wouldn’t be able to snorkel and enjoy the beautiful colors of the different fish. Fisherman would catch less fish and their earnings would be less. It would be horrible!

Pollution makes a beach look dirty and takes away its beauty. If people go to the beach and see it all dirty, then they would have a bad impression about the people that live there. We have to act now so beautiful beaches don’t become smelly, messy, and ugly. Beaches are places where people go to have a good time and relax, but if it’s all polluted they will not be able to enjoy them anymore. The beach would look like a junkyard.

Polluting a beach may cause it to close or that when people enter they get a disease. Beach pollution causes millions of beaches to close every year. Children under the age of 9 have more chances of getting diarrhea and vomiting from being near polluted beaches. Also the closing of a beach can affect the economy of cities. Imagine swimming in the ocean and getting a disease, it would be tragic.

People should stop leaving trash on beaches because it kills animals, takes away a beach´s beauty and could make a beach close. Think about it, would you like a beautiful beach to become kind of a junkyard? No beach deserves to be full of trash. Neither do the aquatic species deserve to have a polluted and ugly home. Just don’t leave your trash thrown on the beach, THROW IT AWAY!
